Alfred Mutua is a man only interested in remaining in power. From his own words after the Landmark ruling at the court of Appeal, Mutua quickly sneaked out through the back door avoiding the media only to comeback a seemingly worried man.

His first words were " I continue to serve as Governor - I have appealed... " On the same breathe.... " the journey to state house in 2022 is still in full gear" This is clearly a man NOT interested in serving the people and a man who doesn't understand DEVOLUTION. His election has been annulled and IEBC directed to conduct a fresh election in Machakos for the Gubernatorial position.

But the question is, if Alfred Mutua believes that he won on August 8th, why doesn't he want to face Wavinya Ndeti again on the ballot? Why doesn't he want to win on a free, transparent and verifiable election against his main rival Wavinya Ndeti? The truth of the matter is that Alfred Mutua is not a leader and did not win on August 8th 2017 but he's a charlatan and a false prophet who specialises in building false hopes. He prays on the poverty of the people as Donald B. Kipkorir would better put it.

Let Wavinya Ndeti serve the people of Machakos who overwhelmingly supported and voted for her in the August General Elections.

    It seams you work for Wavinya because how can you purport to say mutua doesn't comprehend devolution when last term was voted the best performing governor? i am a neutral mind here and lets be honest here and stop mudslinging. Its unfair for the electorates who overwhelmingly voted him in the first place

Kilifi unveils first youth assembly, woman picked as president

  A 24-year-old woman has been sworn in as the first youth assembly president in Kilifi county in a colourful ceremony held at the Malindi Cleopatra grounds. Jacinta Mbeyu Sanga, a fourth-year law student at Kabarak University, was sworn in alongside deputy president Dennis Kazungu, together with 10 cabinet secretaries in an exercise presided over by Malindi chief magistrate Dr Julie Oseko. Kilifi speaker Jimmy Kahindi who was the chief guest at the ceremony  later oversaw the swearing-in of 35 members of the assembly from every ward. The youth assembly is unique as its mode of operation is the parliamentary system and seeks to help in the formulation of policies at the grassroots level and also nurture youth in leadership from an early age to tap various leadership talents within the society. MACHAKOS COUNTY  speaker Florence Mwangangi trashed  Alfred Mutua's intention to retain his County Executive Committee (CEC) members. Mwangangi asked the governor to swiftly nominate and present to the assembly ten names of county ministers for approval as required by the law. She said the governor's failure to constitute a legitimate board of county executive committee members has hampered development in Machakos. The Machakos Assembly has been at the forefront in pushing for meaningful development in the county.
