Keep off young Girls - CAS Wavinya Ndeti warns defilers
Wavinya Ndeti says Government will deal ruthlessly with conveners of ‘kangaroo courts’
Transport Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Wavinya Ndeti on Sunday fired warning shots at defilers and urged all state officers to ensure defilement cases are fast-tracked and processed with speed.
Addressing the press after speaking to teenagers who attended a counseling session at Kinanie Catholic Church in Mavoko constituency, Ms Ndeti said the Government was greatly concerned with the surge in teenage pregnancies, a trend she said must be reversed at whatever cost.
“As a Government we have taken the position that child defilement, incest and all manner of sexual offenses particularly directed to children must be dealt with firmly and decisively. We cannot sit and watch as few crooks ruin the future of our children,” Ms Ndeti said.
